Hello dear Understand your concern. You should take tablet Primolut-N for postpone your period. It contain Norethisterone (synthetic progesterone) 5 mg. Take two tablet daily 3-4 days before your expected normal period date and continue till the time you want to delay your period (maximum up to 14 days). Do not take more than that as it causes hormonal imbalance. When you stop the taking drugs period will come in next 3-4 days, maximum with in week. It is gynecologist prescribed drug so you have to consult the gynecologist for the same. Do no t take if you have allergy to norethisterone. Side effects like stomach upset, loss of libido, nausea, breast discomfort, mood swings may occur. So not use plan B tablet ,it used for emergency contraception. Delayed period is side effects of plan B due to hormonal imbalance.
