Suggest Medication To Reduce High Blood Pressure And Headaches

My daughter in law just moved in with my son. I took her blood pressure and it read 210/132. she had been having headaches for a week now, I just found out. I need to convince her to go see a doctor. The naval base doctor she had been seeing in North Carolina would not put her on medication for high cholesterol. What concerns should I tell her about? She has no health care at this time. Just started working.

Hi,

First of all, your daughter in low needs medication for controlling her blood pressure. It is very high, and with this reading of 210/132 she has high risk of stroke. Her headache comes from elevated blood pressure.
There may be a need for cholesterol level control medication. But blood pressure control is in the first line.
I would even advise you to refer to ER if the blood pressure is still 210/130 mm HG.

Hope I could help you

Wishing a good health to your daughter in low
