Hi
if I were ur treating doctor would have advised the following
- Get more vitamin D
- Eat a nutrient-rich, plant-based diet
- Avoid foods high in fat
- Avoid foods high in salt or sodium
- Stop drinking alcoholic beverages
- Get daily exercise
- Quit smoking
- Prevent exposure to other harmful chemicals, too(air pollution etc)
- Get a blood sample taken ( check SGPT levels once in a month till it comes to normal)
- Stop taking over-the-counter drugs ( as it may affect liver metabolism and may worsen further)
- Talk to your doctor about starting corticosteroids. No medication should be started without a doctor’s approval
- Take antiviral medications - in consultation with your doctor (after infection is subsided liver will start functioning well)
- Consider taking herbal supplements(consult the relevent doctor)
