Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grandsons law is having symptoms of acid reflux but three Drs have not made his discomfort any better. I wondered if it could be gallbladder problems. This has been going on for several months. He is on orompozole? But it is not helping. Thank you.
Understanding your concern. Acid reflux , acidity as per your query are possible symptoms of GERD i.e gastroesophageal reflux disease. Food rich in spices causes formation of acid in stomach and it regurgitates into esophagus and mouth and causes heart burn and bad taste in mouth. If your symptoms did not relieve then i would suggest you to visit gastroenterologist once . Doctor may prescribe proton pump inhibitor medicines and H2 blockers like Omeprazole , Ranitidine if antacids not giving you the desired effects. Doctor may also rule out gallbladder problem . Best and natural treatment to relieve heart burn is use of lemon carbonated drink . Take a glass of water with one ENO pouch dissolved in it to get immediate relief. Well prevention is more required in this case. you can also take half cup of aloe vera juice once daily and chew a gum after meal .
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
