Suggest Medications For Asthma

Hi, My name is Harshal and yesterday my doctor detected Asthama in me. My IgE level is 975.5. He has suggested me Formonide Novocart 400, Floresp AZ nasal spray, T.Emlukast. I have a left chest pain also and my throat itches and in cases when I laugh louder it stops me immediately and I start coughing. My ECG, Chest Xray, 2D echo reports are normal. Please suggest should I take these medicines? will my chest pain stop?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
For the diagnosis of asthma, PFT (pulmonary function test) is must. Without PFT one can not diagnose asthma.
So make sure that your diagnosis of asthma is proper and based on PFT report.
PFT is also helpful in determining severity of asthma. And treatment of asthma is based on severity only.
Treatment you are prescribed is appropriate for asthma.
Inhaled bronchodilators (formonide) is treatment of choice for asthma. Your IgE is raised which suggest allergy. So anti allergic (emlukast) will help in this.
So start the treatment. No harm in it.
Regular follow up with PFT is needed to titrate the doses.
And yes your chest pain will stop after treatment.
