I have bilateral rib cage soreness particularly just behind both armpits. I also have abdominal /flank soreness and pain in upper to mid back. 2 courses of anti-inflammatory meds have yielded no relief. This is a constant soreness and is now present 6 weeks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the gastric irritation, kidney pain, or may be due to the muscular pain.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
You may need to have M.R.I. and other tests for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ranitidine, dicyclomine , mefenamic acid, and cifixime. till the diagnosis is established.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
