Hello, thanks for using healthcaremagic. symptoms you were telling are suggestive of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. you need to concentrate on more strict sugar control. no mention was found in the question regarding your sugar control status.
diabetic neuropathy is a length dependent phenomena so it starts in lower limbs and ascends, by the time it reaches till knee upperlimbs also may start having symptoms.
symptoms due to neuropathy are mainly sensory or motor
diabetes causes sensory neuropahty. in that negative sensations like numbness, feeling like walking on cotton may occur and positive symptoms like burning feet may occur.
treatment is strict sugar control, you can consult your doctor for the same.
to reverse the process of neuropathy or to halt the ongoing disease EPALRESTAT has shown some benifit.
for symptom relief PREGABALIN, if you are a strict vegetarian a combination with methylcobalamin can be used. Hope you find this useful.
