Suggest Medications For Obsessive-compulsive Disorder And Irritability
i want my boyfriend to pack up and leave, hes on invega for his mental illness but it does him no good, he thinks men are in the bed with us and he wakes up in bad moods everyday I cant take this madness anymore is there any stronger meds he can take
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. He is having obsessive compulsive disorder, irritability and these symptoms are persisting even with Invega or Paliperidone. But her symptoms like his belief that men are in bed, recurrent mood changes suggest some psychotic illness. If paliperiodne is not working then other anti-psychotics like Risperdione, Olazapine, Quetiapine etc can help to reduce his symptoms. Please discuss all these problems with him and then take him to a psychiatrist for re-evaluation and start giving him new medicines I have mentioned.
Hope this helps you. Thanks and Take care
