Suggest Medications For Pain Post Fistulotomy

Hi I had a fistulotomy last week and am still in a great deal of pain I noticed that this red plastic on assuming stiches are sticking out and poking me in my wound. Is this normal should I cut the tip of the stitches so I have some relief. I put a call into my Doctor but haven t heard back.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
The fistulotomy is usually not closed with stitches.
It is possible that there is a collection of serum or blood or pus inside the cavity.
You may cut a single stitch so that the collection can escape and you get pain free.
Please continue the medicines as given by your Doctor.
