Suggest Medications For Painful Itchy And Sores In Big Toe

Hello I have an problem with my big toe it is extraordinarily itchy, painful and sore! There is a unusual thick white curved line across the nail itself! I have been to the doctors and I'm on my 2nd course of antibiotics and nothing is happening! Help me please it is driving to distraction!!

There is itching , sore and painful symptoms in big toe .
In my opinion there may be slight swelling also , this swelling causing itching .
As you mentioned that there is pain and soreness in big toe , may be due to .
1 Gouty arthritis , so get in blood for URIC ACID test , beside this also get in blood for C B C & E S R. Allopurinol is the drug of choice in gouty arthritis patient .
2 The next possible reason may be rheumatoid arthritis , however initially this occurs in smaller joints of hand ,but we can not rule out in big toe. Diagnosis can be confirmed by rheumatoid factor examination in blood.
3 Deficiency of calcium is another reason of such type of pain , so get in blood for calcium level .
However there are so many other reason of such type of pain according to age and sex of patient .
In my opinion consult an ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON and get his opinion.
