Suggest Medications For Ulcerated White Tonsils

Hi, I have had swollen painfull tonsils for about 5 weeks now. They are also ulcerated and have white dots on them. I am coming to the end of my second course of antibiotics which don't seem to have helped at all. Do you know what may be causing this?

Hi, thanks for the query.
In my opinion , you are having follicular tonsillitis.
Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , Antihistaminic levocetirizine , Antibiotic azithromycin for 5 days.
Rule out Diabetes , HIV , Do CBC & Tonsillar swab for Culture & Sensitivity .

Consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
