Suggest Medications To Increase Moisture Into A Burned Skin
My mom has a second degree facial burn and was treated at the emergency room. It is now two days later and we have discontinued using silvadene. Now her facial skin is tightening and we were wondering what she could do to increase moisture to her burned skin?
Tightening of the skin may be due to healing of the burnt skin. Do not worry. You may apply aloe vera containing gel like aloederm gel along with the antibiotic cream. Olive oil may be used to reduce the dryness of the skin. Tell her to take more water. Continue oral antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs. Give her vitamin C and E preparations daily to enhance the healing.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
