Suggest Medicine For Abdominal Cramping And Vaginal Spotting During Menopause
I am 54 y/o and I am menopause - 3years ago. For 3 days now, I have been stopping and experiencing abdominal cramping as if I am having my monthly period again. As a remedy, I have taken Midol and Zantac to relieve the discomforts. I have read several articles online and of course, every single article points to consult a physician. I have a history of endometriosis from many years ago. Is there an over the counter medicine I can take to stop the spotting until my health insurance takes effect a month from now?
Hi welcome to healthcare magic, I understand your query and concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of hormonal imbalance during Menopause.Do not worry.I advise you to get an Ultrasound abdomen, chest x ray,ECG,2D Echo,Bone mineral density,Thyroid profile as a part of screening to rule out any underlying pathology.I advise you to take Oral contraceptive pills and SERM'S like raloxifene by discussing with your doctor.Regular exercise for 30 Min and water 3-4 litres per day will be helpful. Consult your gyneacologist for expert management and follow up. Hope I have answered your query at the moment. Post your further queries if any, Thank you
