I have discovered that polysporine (sp) for eyes is on long term back order at all Burlington pharmacies. Is there something over-the-counter I can purchase that will ease a small sore pimple-like bump on my lower eyelid besides applying warm compresses?
As per your case history of a bump on eyelids, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a Neosporin eye ointment twice daily on the affected part. 3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, surgical treatment done by an ophthalmologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
