Suggest Medicine For Bump On Head After Hitting

Hi my mom bumped her head on the corner of a wooden key/mail holder and she has a big bump on the middle of her head and said that the right side of her face hurt when she hit her head. Plus she s had a headache since it occurred which was this morning. Should I take her to the doctor?

Thank you for choosing HCM

I have gone through the question and I feel that you have a headache or a migraine from the pain. It is possible that you have a concussion but the chance is low of this.

You can try to ice the area for about 10 mins at a time every hour to reduce the swelling. If the pain does not stop, then you should see a Doctor to confirm the cause.

There is a possibility of a blood clot or a brain injury which is also causing the pain. All the best and I wish you a quick recovery.

Hope this helps you
