Suggest Medicine For Cough And Runny Nose

I developed a runny nose at first, which turned into a persistent cough accompanied with a lot of mucous. This has been going on for 5 days and I don t seem to have improved. The cough is triggered by constant itchy irritated throat. I ve taken over the counter drugs to help the situation to no avail.

Hello,

I think you can take decongestants such pseudoephedrine and phenylephrine to help with congestion. Also, you can use cetirizine to help with running nose and itching throat. Rinse nose with saline water.
