Suggest Medicine For Dry Cough During Pregnancy
Hello doctors, I need opinion,My wife is 14 Week pregnant, recently she has attacked with dry cough last 2 week & its causing strong effect at midnight with high vomiting sensation.since we had been treated with cough expectorants (dextromethorphen, ascoril cough syrup) ambroxol inj for inheale and other natural remedies like gargling with warm water and generally drinking warm water no longer cold, but still its doesnt show possitive effect against dry cough....so please suggest ,what should be take precaution or medicine for that?

Dry cough and vomiting seems to present like more of a gastric problem than a respirstory one. So please speak to your doctor about initiating medication to treat acid reflux (which is safe during pregnancy), and if it helps then great.
