Suggest Medicine For Severe Abdominal Pain Without Any Side Effects

im having severe abdominal pain that last for hours at a time its now got to the point of affecting my sleep when im on my back laying in bed the pain goes away but when i turn on either side i have bad cramps last month I got sick and was put on doxycycline for 14 days after the second day of treatment my bowel habits changed and I started to get contipated like never before ive took a laxative 4 times this month alone my eating habits have changed as well when i eat I get full fast plus my stomach rumbles and I pass alot of gas.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe abdominal pain. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query gastroenteritis ,lactose intolerance , electrolyte imbalance , food poisoning or irritable bowel syndrome .Need not to worry. For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like seafood and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down. You should take diet rich in fibres and take plenty of fluids. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , anaspas for pain, ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine.
