I AM A DIABETIC FOR THE LAST 8-9 YEARS. TODAY MY FASTING SUGAR LEVEL WAS 103. I AM ON THE FOLLOWING MEDICINES : VILDAGLIPTIN- 50 MG, MORNING; METFORMIN S R - 1 GM TWICE A DAY AND GLIMEPIRIDE I MG TWICE A DAY. IS IS SUFFECIENT OR SHOULD I REDUCE THE SAME.

Hi.

Fasting blood sugar level of 103 can be called as good control.

I would advice you for checking Postprandial Blood Sugar and HbA1C level as well to know your complete sugar profile.

If you are not having any episode of low sugar level with your current medicines, then there is no need to reduce or change the medicine.
