Suggest Medicines For High BP That Do Not Affect Gout

My father has gout and in the last 6 months has had 2very serious outbreaks. His kidney doctor took him off lozol because of the side effects of gout. Are there other blood pressure meds he can go on to help control his blood pressure. He is currently on lopressor and another type. He was on lisinopril but his creatine level went up to 1.72, so they discontinued it as well. He is currently in the hospital following a gout attack. Steroids help with gout symptoms and has been on allupernol(gout med 300mg) but had gout attack anyway. He was weaning off prednisone and down to 2mg and 300 mg allupernol. I am concerned because the doctor also took him off the gout med because of creatine level. I guess my question is are there other meds for BP that can help control it that won't interfere with his gout?
