First, do your complain correspond to under active thyroid?
Normally, after starting treatment with 
levothyroxine the symptoms of under active thyroid need a 4-6 week period to improve.
So, if your physician has attributed your sign and symptoms to the 
thyroid disorder, you have to wait some weeks to see the improvement.
If the 
TSH persists high after 6 weeks, your physician will suggest to increase the dose.
