Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi I just turned 28 I have been married for 4 years height 5'1 weight 125 or so no medical history I want to conceive but everytime I just end up getting my menstral maybe we are not planning right what is the best way to conceive I mean my first day of menstral was aug 5 and on aug 11 is my last day which is the seventh day any advice
If you have failed to conceive after 4 years with normal and regular marital relationship, it cannot be due to improper planning. Failure to become pregnant with normal relationship for more that one year needs investigating the couple for infertility. Woman's ovary releases the ova (egg) 14 days prior to the next expected menses. So if your periods are regular, you can calculate the day of ovulation which is the best day for fertilization. Also, you can monitor the egg formation by ultrasonography to plan the day of intercourse. It is advisable to follow at least 4 days abstinence from the sex before such intercourse. However, I would advice you to start getting investigated for infertility.
