Suggest Methods For Pregnancy With Tubes Blocked

hsg showed tubes blocked. doc says i have 0 chance of getting pregnant and my only option is ivf however, i have searched the internet and found that no matter what is wrong with the tubes there is a surgery that can fix it. i havent got a second opinion yet but i will not do the ivf. so when can a surgery not fix tubes and why go the way of ivf?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Bilateral blocked fallopian tubes have no chance of spontaneous pregnancy.
Surgery to make the tubes patent is called tuboplasty, but it's success rates are too low , so any infertility specialist rarely recommends this surgery to the patients with bilateral blocked tubes.
IVF has a much larger success rate and is the first line of treatment for such patients, and your doctor is very right in suggesting you IVF.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
