Dear Lubna,

I do appreciate your natural maternal instinct.

Ferpill kit and Sukumaar Lehya are internal and ayurvedic medicines.

In fact, before starting any medicine, you should assess your and your husband's fertility potency.

1. Initially find out that you are releasing eggs. Please submit yourself for ultrasonography for ovulation monitoring. This will locate the day of your ovulation as well as the thickness of your uterine lining (endometrium). Endometrium of thickness between 9-14 mm is more conducive for implantation of the fertilized egg. Once you know the day of your ovulation, try to utilize that day and days around it for sexual intercourse. Please know that egg has a life of 24 hours while the sperms are active for 72 hours.

2. Also get your husband's semen examination done to find out the quality and quantity of the sperms.

3. If both these tests are within normal limits, you may just give a fair trial by timing your marital relations on and around the day of egg release for 6 months.

4. If it does not give you desired result, then you will have to assess the patency of your genital tract by Hysterosalpingography/Hysteroscopy. If any block or any other pathology is detected, you will have to get it treated from a Gynaecologist.

5. Also get your hormonal profile done for FSH, LH, Oestrogen, Progesterone, Prolactin, T3, T4, TSH.

6. With all these investigations are within normal limits and still you fail to conceive, then you might have to report to a Gynaecologist for Assisted Reproductory Technique.

I hope this helps you.
