hi. i am 26.i have been trying to conceive for the last three years..i was on metformin before with clomid for 6 months but nothing happened. Recently my gyn found my husband has some problem with motality. he has been given some medicine..Thats workin fine i think...i am 72 kg my gyn told me to loose weight...i am so confused because when for the first time i was on metformin and clomid i lost around 10 kg but i couldn t conceive at that time...What should i do now?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. You seem to suffer from polycystic ovarian disease, in which there is irregular or no ovulation, thus leading to difficulty in conceiving.
The first line management of PCOS is decreasing the weight and lifestyle modification.
Since you have failed to conceive with ovulation induction drug, Clomid, then you can go for intrauterine insemination with ovulation induction as the next step.
