Suggest Methods To Control TSH Levels

hi...my TSH levels are not coming under control when i was taking thyronorm 75mcg, it came up and when i started taking 100mcg it came down the limits...my legs and hands go numb very soon remaining in the same posture even for a shortwhile... nerves feel tight and there is pain in left leg below knee for past 3 months, got MRI done nothing came out...

i feel depressed and stressed out throught out the day

Hi,

1. Regarding your thyroid disorder, your thyroxine dose should be optimised to keep you TSH in normal range. If it is normal with 100 mcg thyroxine you can continue with same dose

2. If your peripheral numbness is not subsiding - you should get evaluated for same. Some common associations in hypothyroidism are neuropathy due to carpal tunnel syndrome, vitamin D deficiency etc.
