HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Terazosin is used for prostate symptoms but it can cause a decrease in blood pressure as well.

If your friend is not having any symptoms related to his blood pressure then he can continue taking this medication. The reading is acceptable if he has no symptoms.
Symptoms of hypotension (low blood pressure) are dizziness, clammy feeling, shortness of breath, palpitations

If he is having symptoms then his doctor may want to change to another prostate med that does not affect the blood pressure eg tamulosin

I hope this helps
