Suggest Modes Of STD Transmission

Umm... hello. This may seem like a dumb question, but I'm a teenager and the internet can be scary at times. I'm a virgin, and I'm kind of afraid of all those STD's out there, and I heard you can still get STD's even if there is no physical contact, like on a toilet seat or something. I just want to know if that's true.

Thank you for query.there are so many stuff in internet which can be true or false.you need to get information from authentic site then decide on information. Many times information is misinterpreted.STD can spread by sexual route, blood or blood products, injections etc.some stds like herpes simplex(even by kiss) molluscum can transmit by skin to skin contact also provided the partner has active infection. The other routes mentioned by you are rarest of rare possibilities and are not clearly documented. You can get back to me for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
