The FNAC from lungs and liver are most important to decide the future course of treatment. Cancer cannot be confirmed unless a FNAC or biopsy test is positive. For vomiting and pain he must be given symptomatic treatment and his general condition is to be improved. A complete blood count is advised to know if he is having anemia. This has to be discussed with the doctor and if he is having low hemoglobin then it has to be treated first.
If secondary cancer is confirmed then it is probably stage 4 disease. Treatment must be started immediately to extend survival and regular follow up with oncologist is required. Pain relief medicines should also be given with nutrition and supportive care. Please do not worry.
