Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Acne would wane gradually with age.
They are chronic and recurrent and it is necessary to take regular care of your skin till the tendency dies off on its own with time.
Make sure you don't use any creams or cosmetics which are too oily for your skin like moisturizers, sunscreens etc.
You may use a non-comedogenic moisturizer and a gel based sunscreen, if desired.
You may use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.
Topical retinoids e.g adapalene, tretinoin are ideal for maintenance of improvement in acne.
Topical retinoids are comedolytic and therefore prevent new acne formation while also resolving existing ones.
You may use topical retinoids once daily at night or every alternate night for maintenance.
For active acne I would suggest a topical antiacne antibacterial preparation like clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel.
Oral antibiotics may also be required if you are having an inflammatory flare of acne.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist for more details regarding how to take care of oily and acne prone skin and regarding the use of topical retinoids for maintenance of improvement.

Regards
