Suggest Possible Treatment For Pain In The Left Foot

My wife has had pain every day in her left foot.... top of foot and arch, has had 5 surgeries since the pain began one day 6/28/2002, she has seen all kinds of specialists, we believe the pain might be a nerve that is dying that may be doing so all the way to the spine but this is from one foot and ankle doctor who performed 2 of her surgeries to decompress nerves in various compartments from the foot to just below the knee. We trust this doctor's thoughts more than any she has seen. This is a definite life-changing pain, she (we) rarely does anything socially with family and friends because of the additional pain it might cause.
