Suggest Possible Treatments For Pimples On Face

I only get acne on my face and it is thick and waxy. The core usually seems like a small grain of rice. I'm wondering if it may not be acne as it is only on my face and there is no puss or inflammation of the skin. If I leave the pumps alone they will stay anywhere from a couple months to half a year. what could cause this and how can I treat.

Hi,

Your history suggests that you may be having milia along with acne vulgaris. Milia are whitish lesions with white material. They are benign cystic lesions. The lesions may be removed by electrocautery done under local anaesthesia. Clindamycine gel may be applied on acne lesions. Cap minocycline 50 mg may be taken daily for few months. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
