Suggest Precautions For Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy

I was recently diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. All this is new to me and since being diagnosed I have done extensive research on the subject. My question is: what precautions should I take when having seizures and what differences should I make in my diet?
