Hi my name is Wendi. I have got a few questions to ask you. 1. Im 36 my hubby is 38. We are wanting to have a baby, but we are waiting til next year to start. Would it be ok to start trying next year? My hubby said last night we arent getting any younger. He also said hes concerned with him almost being 40 but not til next year. He will be 39 this year I will be 37 this year. 2. Im skinny would me being skinny be ok for me to get pregnant? I am also knocked kneed. Knock kneed means my 2 knees are turned in. Would me with my knees like they are affect me to be able to do a vaginal birth if I do a vaginal birth when I have a baby? 3. My mom when she was pregnant with me and my sister never had am sickness and my sister when she was pregnant with her fraternal twins never had am sickness and the twins are her first kids. Would it be possible for me to get am sickness since this would be me and my hubby s first child. Hope not! I dont want am sickness at all. I am sorry for all the questions but im curious. I know I shouldn t be worried but I am. If I cant conceive then I know there is adoption. I kinda want to do that even though it s not the same so i wont have to go through being pregnant thing. My hubby would want me to be pregnant instead of adopting but im afraid on the inside.

Hi,

It is generally considered safe for women to conceive up until the age of 35-40, depending on individual health factors. Waiting until next year to start trying should not pose any additional risks, but it is recommended to schedule a preconception visit with a healthcare provider to address any concerns and ensure optimal health before pregnancy.

Being skinny does not necessarily affect one's ability to get pregnant, but it is important to maintain a healthy weight and diet during pregnancy for the health of both mother and baby. As for knock-kneed deformity, it is unlikely to affect the ability to have a vaginal birth, but it is important to discuss any concerns with a healthcare provider to ensure safe delivery.

Nausea and vomiting (morning sickness) during pregnancy is a common symptoms and can occur in any pregnancy, regardless of whether it is the first or subsequent pregnancy. While some women do not experience morning sickness at all, it is important to prepare for the possibility and discuss any concerns with a healthcare provider.

In terms of precautions to be taken before pregnancy for women with knock-kneed deformity, it is recommended to maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly to strengthen leg muscles and improve overall health. It may also be helpful to consult with a healthcare provider or physical therapist to address any concerns and develop an individualized plan for optimal health before pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
