Suggest Precautions To Be Taken For Accidental Intake Of Floor Cleaner

I think I might ve accidently swallowed a little bit of Lysol. I thought I rinsed out the cup but the water tasted a little interesting. I feel totally fine, my Stomach isn t hurting (at the moment.) The cup was a simple 8 oz. cup and I probably drank about 2-3 oz. of it before I stopped. When I sprayed the Lysol, it wasn t like in the cup, it was near the edge so even if some got in it, it wouldn t of been very much. Should I do something, like drink something or should I just wait and everything should be fine? Again like I said, I don t have any stomach pain (this happened about 5 minutes ago.)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If it was only a small amount, it is unlikely that you would experience any significant adverse effects and there is no specific treatment at this time.
Any mild effects that do occur may only need monitoring and treating symptomatically (treating specific symptoms appropriately as they occur).

If you remain concerned then you should see your doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
