As you have mentioned your placenta's is low lying at 14 weeks, at early gestation you're placenta is large and
uterus is small, almost everyones placenta looks like low lying. This is why no need to look at the placenta until the patient is about 20 weeks along, to give it time to "migrate" upward and away from the

pregnancy.
So I think your placenta will be away from cervix when you go for 18
- 20 weeks USG.
If after 20 weeks, if our is still low lying, you should be worried and
