As you are already under the supervision of your physician thus under no circumstances you should add/delete or change any drug without first consulting with him, I at most can let you know about the precautions and dietary instructions which one can follow:
- Routine antenatal checkup to be done every month for 7 months are complete. Then every 15 days in last 2 months in which your gynecologist will record weight, B.P., look for edema & pallor, palpate the height of the uterus
- Routine Investigations like
Hemoglobin,
blood group & Rh
- Urine albumin: every month
- Ultrasonography: in 5th & 9th month
Antenatal Advise:
- well balanced food, with extra proteins.
- plenty of green vegetablesm& fruits.
- regular exercise like walking.
- adequate rest.
- a daily bath with special attention to the cleanliness of
vulva.
- avoid long journeys in the first trimester and last 2 months. If unavoidable prefer the train.
- avoid sexual intercourse in last 6 weeks, to prevent ascending infections.
Avoid any medications except Iron, calcium,
paracetamol and antacids. No newly introduced drugs should be given during early
pregnancy.
