Suggest Preventive Measures For Fluid Flow Through Ears

my sister got yellowish smelling fluid coming out of her ears,
we have consulted doctors and take medicine and ear drops(ciplox d or ciprofloxazine&dexamethasone)
but not getting cured,
i want ur advice on eardrops and preventive measures at home
my sister is mentally ill too

Hello,
Yellowish ear discharge indicates that there is perforation in the ear drum .
And the discharge is coming from middle part of ear.
The most important thing is that you should avoid water entering in her ears.
In the medicines the antibiotic like Amoxicillin with clavulinic acid is good,.Antihistaminics like loratidine with decongestants like phenylepherine would help.
Ear drops like Neosporin H or Gentisyn HC would help.
