Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. You are having chronic hepatitis B infection, which is currently not active. There is risk of transmission to your partner, as hepatitis B virus has high transmission rate sexually. However, if the infection is not active, then the chances of vertical transmission to the baby is almost nil. The baby needs to be immunized with immunoglobulin and hepatitis B vaccine after birth. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
