Suggest Recovery Time During Lipoma Infection

I have a lipoma on my left ankle that is approx 6 cm
It is attached to bone and muscle and the treatment now suggested is to have it surgically removed since it does cause pain and interfere with my ambulation.
How approximately long would it take for recovery from such surgery?
