I'm having trouble sleeping, I slept maybe 6 hours in the last 3 days but I'm still not tired. I barely blink and I have a dull throbbing in the back of my head. I feel careless, I'm quick to snap, I just keep having this numb feeling. My mind won't stop running a mile a minute and I just don't really know what to do. I guess I feel really helpless. I also feel really bloated, it's a constant feeling that I have been having for over 3 weeks now. I'm at a loss.
I would also like to know the following things to help you better. How is your mood now a days for most of the time of the day. If its sad and you do not feel interested in your daily activities you maybe suffering from Depression that is easily treatable with antidepressants like Esitalopram 10 mg for at least 2 years. For sleeplessness you can take clonazepam 0.5 mg at bedtime for few weeks. Is it the first time this has happened to you or earlier also such episodes have occurred for at least 2 weeks. Does someone in your family have such an illness. You mention your mind cant stop running , additionally do you feel elated, spending more, talking more than usual, taking risks, doing more work. If so you need to be evaluated for other mood disorders too by a psychiatrist. I hope this helps you.
