Suggest Remedies For A Large Painful Lump On The Earlobe
I have a large lump on my earlobe. It is red and feels hot. There is no pus or anything like that, but it is giving me the worst headache. I did not cut it or get a new peicing. It appeared yesterday it was just painful. Today I could barely function. What could it be and how can I treat it?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of large painful lump on the earlobe which is mainly due to infection of the ear lobe and it could eb parotid gland involvement. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take a combination of Azithromycin 500 mg along with and Montu to subside infection and swelling. You should take Zincovit to fasten the healing. Do Not touch or prick it. Apply hot fomentation on that area. Symptoms will resolve in one week. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Once a proper diagnosis have been made, start treatment accordingly. Apply voltaren gel locally.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
