Suggest Remedies For A Painful Bartholin Cyst

I have a Bartholin cyst that had just become painful, I ve had a bad experience with getting it drained in the past and I would much rather get it taken out but it has to wait until I get home. What do i do as of now? I m taking ibuprofen, serrapeptase, and using tea tree oil and got baths. I dont know what to do.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in HCM.

Bartholin cysts are normally painless. But if it gets painfull, it means that it is infected resulting in a Bartholin cyst abscess. For now you can opt to use Ibuprofen for pain and Sitz bath (soaking in warm water for three to four times a day), until you can consult with a doctor for local examination and proper drainage of the abscess. Marsupialization of the cyst can also so that re collection does not occur, followed by a dosage of antibiotics.

Kindly sent in any further queries you may have.
Thank you
