Suggest Remedies For A Red Swollen Lump On The Shin

After working 8-10 hour day at a local supermarket stocking, pulling loaded pallets off a truck, lifting cases of products, a red swollen lump (size of a lemon) will appear on the front my on my shin. (The lump is tender to touch and sometimes will appear on both shins. Today the lump/ knot is only on the left shin) I wear compression socks most work days and to treat the swelling, inflation & pain, I use ice packs and take anti-inflammatory medication. I 5 10 tall and weigh 168 lbs

Hello,

It may be due to abscess.

For further assessment I would suggest you to consult with surgeon for detailed examination.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

You may require drainage and regular dressing.

Maintain proper hygiene
