Suggest Remedies For A Ring With Clear Fluid Discharge On The Wrist

Hi I have a ring on my wrist the size of a quarter and it s been on there for about two weeks now and it won t go away. It was the size of a mosquito bit and then it grew gradually. I ve been washing it and this clear fluid comes out of the edge of it.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having irritant dermatitis on wrist.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroids taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
