General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The redness will reduce, it is part of the body's inflammatory response to trauma (squeezing) and also due to the infection (the pimple).

It can take a few days for the redness to decrease, in some cases up to a week.
Applying a topical antibiotic twice daily may help it to resolve faster.

I hope this helps
