Suggest Remedies For A Wound On The Hand

Hi doctor can i use dettol antiseptic insted of betadine because previously i was using betadine for my wound . i broke my hand and my bone is attached with some kind of pin and i doctor suggest me to clean my wound daily. and i am really confuse which one is best for my wound plzz suggest. .

You can use Dettol liquid instead of betadine.
1.     Clean the wound with Dettol. Wash out all dust and dirt
2.     Injection Tetvac – stat intramuscular
3.     Amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours for 7 days
4.     Apply soframycin cream every 8 hours
5.     Ibuprofen 400 mg every 8 hours per oral after meal for 3 days if you feel pain. Otherwise avoid it
6.     Keep the wound open. Do not cover it
