Suggest Remedies For Absent Periods After Taking Nurofen Plus For Tooth Ache

Hi I recently had a tooth extracted and before and during the experience took a recommended dose of nurofen plus to help with the pain. Since then I have not had a period and I am a week and a half late. I am 39 years old and we were hoping to try for another baby soon before its too late. I have always been regular but now worried we will not have a chance. Please can you advise whether you think the extraction or medication could have affected my cycle and if it is likely to return to normal. Anything i can do to encourage it to return?
