Suggest Remedies For Anxiety, depression And Headaches
one of my relatives has unusual behaviour. she speaks to herself, murmurs which others can't hear, she cannot maintain time, spends her time sitting or lying on her bed, she also frequently suffers from depression and a constant headache with a feeling of vomitting and shaking of hands and legs. she is quite suspicious and feels that others will harm her and her parents. There are many more problems she is suffering from. I want to know what is wrong with her. please suggest a solution. Age-23 years, being treated for 5 years but of no use.
Dear User, Going by your description, if I were her treating doctor, I would first think of a long standing Psychotic illness like Schizophrenia and give an adequate trial of a good antipsychotic drug like Olanzapine 10-20 mg/day (looking at response and side-effects) and would ask them to see me after 15 days. You may discuss about this with your Psychiatrist. Dr. Sudhir Mahajan
