Suggest Remedies For Burnt Arm

I burned my arm a few days ago baking, it did not seem bad at all but yesterday it blistered up and so I put antibiotic cream on it and bandaged it up at work where I do baking and a lot of dishes today I noticed a few red lines running around the wound and it does appear to be slightly infected, do I put on a bandaid or do I let air get to it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to burn injury. For that you can apply silver sulfadiazine ointment locally. You may require antibiotics after physician consultation to avoid infection. Do regular dressing. Maintain proper hygiene.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
